Due to the special impeller geometry, they are excellently suited as transfer pumps also for solids-laden media, e.g. as backing pump for ultra-filtration. The use of corrosion resistant materials makes the SAGER+MACK pumps interesting e.g. for the transfer of seawater, but also for chemical transfer or in connection with waste water treatment, the transfer of bilgewater as well as in the field of exhaust gas cleaning/washing which reduce the NOX and SOX values of the exhaust gases.
